Project Orchard

  1. How to Contribute

The Orchard Project is committed to open community participation. We encourage contributions of all sorts, including code submissions, bug fixes and patches, feature recommendations, general project feedback, and more. In addition, we hope that other community members and partners in the ecosystem may be interested in utilizing Orchard to help them build their own applications.

The Orchard Project is delivered under the CodePlex Foundation, and accepts patches and community code contributions under the BSD license. Committers must agree to the terms of the CodePlex Foundation's contribution agreement (PDF) but it is not necessary to be a committer to contribute patches. You can find more information on how to submit contributions to the project on the Orchard CodePlex.com website, including instructions for submitting patches, coding guidelines, and code acceptance policies. Like any open source project with a merit-based contribution model, an individual may become a full-fledged committer to the Orchard project by submitting frequent and consistent high-quality code contributions over time. New committers will be added to the project at the discretion of the core team.
